The Black Pearl sailed good ten years searching and finding the lost pieces of cursed gold. Thanks to Bootstrap, one was sent who-knows-where. None worried about it too franticly at first, but after number 881 was recovered? How many years they actually spent sailing after the last missing piece? One, maybe two or five? All the frustration piling up as the curse kept dragging out.
AND when the call of 882 was heard. Everyone stops for a heartbeat, and their eyes are all turning towards the same direction, forgetting what they were doing. And after a full decade, sincere smiles are seen again. Everyone feels the same: Crazy relief and eagerness mixed with unstoppable desire.

Ok, this was an experimentation of strong emotions. Barbossa got an evil smile and glinting eyes and Ragetti got a glad and generally insane expression. I ended not to use reference for Ragetti's face since I took liking the doodle my memory produced.
You've noticed there is almost none (fan-art/movies) situations with these two doing something that doesn't start/end comically?
